What does “fully managed” mean?

It means we do the setup work for you. After a short call where we learn about your business, our team configures your gal, sets up call forwarding instructions for your carrier, tests the line, and stays available to make changes whenever you need them. You forward your phone. We handle the rest. This is true on every plan — not a premium-tier perk.

How long does it take to go live?

One business day. We schedule a 20-minute call to learn about your business, set everything up the same day, and email you the forwarding instructions. As soon as you turn forwarding on, PhoneGal starts answering.

What counts as a “minute”?

We bill by the second, rounded up to the nearest minute at the end of the call. A 90-second call uses 2 minutes; a 30-second call uses 1. Ringing and voicemail don't count — only time the gal is actually on the line.

What if I go over my included minutes?

Each plan has a different overage rate: $0.35/min on Starter, $0.30/min on Pro, $0.25/min on Max. Overage is billed on your next monthly invoice — never a surprise. If you're consistently going over, upgrading to the next plan usually saves money.

Can I switch plans?

Yes — anytime. Just email us or message your account manager and we'll handle it. Upgrades start immediately; downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle.

Is there a setup fee?

No. Every plan is the monthly price you see, period. White-glove setup is included — no onboarding charges, no per-number fees.

Will my callers know they're talking to an AI?

Yes. PhoneGal identifies herself as your AI receptionist at the start of every call and lets the caller know the call may be recorded where local law requires it. We don't pretend she's human — but the conversation feels natural enough that most callers don't mind.
